Eisteddfod - Concert Band - 2 August 2022

Dear Parents and Carers

On Tuesday 2nd August our Concert Band will be performing at the Eisteddfod! Details are as follows:

Date:	Tuesday, 2 August 2022
Venue:	Matthew Flinders Anglican College, Performing Arts Centre
Transport Time:	Meet at senior undercover area at 11:30am. Bus leaves school at 11:45am to be at the venue at 12:10pm
	Depart venue at 2:30pm and return to school
Session Time:	Session starts at 12:30pm
Dress Requirements:	Music shirt with black shorts/culottes, white socks, black shoes, hair neat with long hair tied up
Performance songs:	March of the Kangaroos, Beethoven's 9th, Walkin' Cool.
What to bring:	Instrument, music, water and second break lunch in a small tote bag (no school bags)

For those parents that are able to come and support the performers, the admission fees are $7 for adults, $2 for school age, non-performing children. Tickets can be purchased through this link: https://www.trybooking.com/CADCF

Please note that the Department of Education and Training does not have personal accident insurance cover for students. If your child is injured as a result of an accident or incident, all costs associated with the injury, including medical costs are the responsibility of the parent/carer. Some incidental medical costs may be covered by Medicare. If you have private health insurance, some costs may be also be covered by your provider. Any other costs must be covered by parents/carers.
