Eisteddfod - String Ensemble - 1 August 2022

Dear Parents and Carers

On Monday 1st August our String Ensemble will be performing at the Eisteddfod! Details are as follows:

Date:	Monday, 1 August 2022
Venue:	Matthew Flinders Anglican College, Performing Arts Centre
Transport Time:	Meet at senior undercover area at 8:00am. Bus leaves school at 8:30am to be at the venue at 8:45am
	Depart venue at 11:45am and return to school
Session Time:	9:30am (we are first!)
Dress Requirements:	Music shirt with black shorts/culottes, white socks, black shoes, hair neat with long hair tied up
Performance songs:	March and Canon, Circus Parade, Valse Elegant
What to bring:	Instrument, music, water and morning tea in a small tote bag (no school bags)

For those parents that are able to come and support the performers, the admission fees are $7 for adults, $2 for school age, non-performing children. Tickets can be purchased through this link: https://www.trybooking.com/CADCF

Please note that the Department of Education and Training does not have personal accident insurance cover for students. If your child is injured as a result of an accident or incident, all costs associated with the injury, including medical costs are the responsibility of the parent/carer. Some incidental medical costs may be covered by Medicare. If you have private health insurance, some costs may be also be covered by your provider. Any other costs must be covered by parents/carers. It is up to all parents/carers to decide what types and what level of private insurance they wish to arrange to cover their child.
